PICACHO STATE RECREATION AREA - DAY 3

Our 6-month anniversary of living full time in the Chinook - I spent it enjoying the sunshine, relaxing in a camp chair, and drinking wine. Darell spent it driving the jeep over the bumpy 18 mile road to pavement, shopping around Yuma until he found a thermocouple to replace the one that went belly-up in the refrigerator, and then installing it (with only a modicum of cursing and a few band-aids) in the Chinook. Yay! We have no cold food! But when we next buy some, we'll be able to keep it cool!
