UNDER THE WEATHER

We've taken several hikes here at the National Monument: The Desert View Trail, The VC Nature Trail, The Campground Trail, The Palo Verde Trail, The Red Tanks Trail, The Victoria Mine Trail, and part of The Baker Mine Trail, and the Puerto Blanco Scenic Drive. We have another scenic drive and two more hiking trails to go before we leave: The Ajo Mountain Drive, and The Arch Canyon and The Estes Canyon-Bull Pasture trails. Unfortunately, we've both caught colds, and have spent the last few days just taking it easy at the campsite. The weather is beautiful and the scenery is wonderful, but we're both anxious to get back on the trail. So to speak. Hopefully we'll be back hiking in another day or two. In the meantime, here is a photo from The Red Tanks Trail:
